On 30 March 2026, Dong Gong, Founder and Design Principal of Vector Architects, returned to HKU after seven years to deliver a public lecture titled “Seeing into the Site”. Through recent works and reflections, Dong explored how architecture begins by interacting with the site—one that evolves through architectural intervention and is ultimately measured by human experience. The presentation was followed by an engaging Q&A with students, teachers, and audience members.
This event is part of the Faculty of Architecture’s 75th Anniversary Lecture Series “Precision in Imagination”, and is co-hosted by the Department of Urban Planning and Design.
